Kinser to Study Role of Accreditation Requirements

Kevin Kinser, a professor in the Department of Educational Administration and Policy Studies, has recently been awarded a $10,000 grant from the American Public University System to study institutional governance of regionally accredited for-profit institutions.  Through this project, Kinser will study the governing boards of regionally accredited for-profit institutions of higher education, particularly in relation to their membership and policies, and the role that accreditation requirements have on determining their structure and function.
