What:
The University at Albany will celebrate
Fountain Day, the annual rite of spring when
the main fountain on the campus podium is
turned on for the season, with games,
contests, prizes, free food, music and
entertainment.
Who:
UAlbany students, faculty, and staff only
may attend
When:
Sunday, April 23, 2006, noon - 4 p.m.
Where:
Collins Circle "Island" and academic
podium, UAlbany Uptown Campus, 1400
Washington Avenue, Albany, NY
Background:
Fountain Day began in 1978 as Human
Awareness Program day and the celebration
was moved from a weekday to Sunday in 2005
allowing for more faculty and staff
participation. UAlbany students, faculty,
and staff are welcome to attend this event,
sponsored by the Student Association and the
Division of Student Success.
