ITS Help Desk is Ready to Serve

Need help with technology? Information Technology Services (ITS) has made changes to its service locations on campus. New signage to identify these locations will be completed shortly.

The ITS Help Desk, now consolidated in the University Library and Husted-002, is the main location for in-person help with most technology-related questions or issues for all students, faculty, and staff.

The Help Desk is open in the University Library Monday-Thursday from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m., Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday from 2-8 p.m, as well as in Husted-002 Monday-Thursday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Test Scanning Services is now located in LC-27. If you are in need of services other than test scanning, please visit the Help Desk in the University Library. Test Scanning Services is open Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Educational Technology Center staff provide educational technology consulting to the faculty, including use and support for Blackboard. ETC staff are available to consult with instructors by appointment. For easy scheduling, use the online portal at www.albany.edu/edtech.

As always, the most efficient way to get IT assistance on campus is to submit a Service Desk Request Form online or e-mail [email protected].

The ITS Service Desk is the central portal to request IT services and assistance. The service desk enables ITS staff to respond as expeditiously and effectively as possible.
