I am currently pursuing my Ph.D. at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, under the supervision and guidance of Professor Hany Elgala at the Signals & Networks (SINE) Lab. Prior to that, I have received my M.S. in Electrical Engineering from The State University of New York at Buffalo. From May 2017 to August 2021, I have worked as a Lecturer in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, North South University, Bangladesh.
My research interest focuses on the modeling and analysis of hybrid VLC-RF communication systems for joint communication and sensing using reconfigurable intelligent surfaces. I am also inquisitive about examining the manifold research aspects of machine learning algorithms in the context of wireless communication. Since the beginning of my graduate study, I have delved my interest in the aforementioned areas and as such I have co-authored 3 conference papers (indexed in Springer and IEEE Xplore), 1 journal paper (indexed in MDPI), and 1 short chapter (indexed in Springer) in similar research areas.
Besides, I am currently involved with a project on Cloud based Hybrid RF-OpticalNetwork Over Synchronous Links, in short CHRONOS. I am currently investigating the circuit characterization of an integrated LED/LASER transceiver system. Apart from that, in collaboration with Professor Jacob Chakareski, I am analyzing the scope of 360-degree virtual reality video immersion using indoor hybrid rf-optical networks.
