I bought the car in June 2001 for $2500 almost completely stock. It was originally an AOD with about 112,000 miles when I bought it. I have since added the parts listed at the bottom of the page (and some others that have since been removed), over the last eight years. The car is now night and day different from when I bought it- it now feels like it wants to twist right up when I floor it. I finally broke the 12 second barrier in 2006, and the 11 second barrier in 2010. My future plans are to keep the car about where it is mechanically, a high 10 second car I can pretty much drive anywhere, but I want to have the body work done and the car painted, probably either matte or gloss black. ***NEXT TRACK DATE- Hoping for Fall 2012***
June 2004- mid 14's with the stock AOD launched at 2k rpm with 60 ft times between 2.2-2.5. July 2005- 12.66 @ 108 mph with a 1.98 60 foot time all motor, 5 speed **VIDEO** August 2006- Went 12.38 @ 118 mph with a 2.18 60 foot time (~8 lbs boost, spinning)
September 2006- Went 12.33 @ 116 mph with a 1.96 60 foot time (~8 lbs boost)
October 2006- Went 11.88 @ 119 mph with a 1.85 60 foot time (~8 lbs boost)
May 2009- Went 11.15 @ 123 mph with a 1.79 60 foot time (~8 lbs boost)
June 2010- Went 10.98 @ 125 mph with a 1.73 60 foot time (~9 lbs boost)
