Dr. Kathryn Fore

I grew up in Southern California and did my undergraduate work in English and Psychology at UC Irvine. I came to New York for graduate school and got my PhD in English at Columbia University. I decided I liked working with students more than books, so I started advising – first at City College of New York and Purchase College, and now here at UAlbany. I care a lot about mental health and self-care in college, and helping students navigate the “hidden curriculum” of academics. I still like to read and write.
