Megan Sanzo
Megan Sanzo joined the College of Emergency Preparedness, Homeland Security and Cybersecurity at the University at Albany in 2022 as an academic advisor for the EHC program.
A higher education professional with almost a decade of experience, she holds extensive experience in residence life, student activities, and academic advising. She is a team player with a leaning towards innovation and improvement in all aspects of higher education.
An advocate for students and those with disabilities, she has presented at national and regional conferences on disability topics within higher education, as well as lobbied on Capitol Hill for disability rights.
Prior to joining UAlbany, she served as an academic advisor at Excelsior College, a residence hall director at SUNY Morrisville, and a residence life coordinator at North Central Texas College (NCTC).
Ms. Sanzo holds a BS in Psychology from Cazenovia College, a BS in Homeland Security and Emergency Management from Excelsior College, and an MS in Higher Education Administration from the University of Rochester.
