Hanna received a BS degree in Psychology from Clemson University. During her time at Clemson, Hanna worked with the ClemsonLife program, a program designed to teach independent living skills to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Hanna also worked as a TA in a class designed to promote social skills for autistic college students.
Prior to joining CARD, Hanna was a research assistant at the Center for Autism at the Kennedy Krieger Institute in Baltimore. Through this role, she provided parent coaching for parents of autistic toddlers to increase social communication and language skills.
Hanna is interested in evidence-based interventions, which incorporate a strength-based approach for autistic individuals and their caregivers.
She is currently enrolled as a clinical doctoral student at the University at Albany, SUNY.
