UAlbany Minerva Center announces 2024 Endowed Undergraduate Research Awards

The University at Albany’s Minerva Center for High Impact Learning has announced its Fall 2024 Endowed Undergraduate Research Awards, offering up to $1,000 in funding to support individual undergraduate research projects.

 

The Minerva Center for High Impact Learning at UAlbany provides UAlbany students with the resources and opportunities to pursue research across a wide range of fields and disciplines. Through generous gifts, students can grow academically and professionally, acquiring the skills and experience needed to succeed in achieving their current and future goals.

A sincere thanks to the Minerva Center, the UAlbany Foundation, and the generous donors and alumni for their invaluable support, including:

  • The Abele Research Fund donated by Kenneth W. Abele and Thelma Miller Abele '38.
  • The Greenwald Research Fund donated by Lita and Stephen Greenwald '40.

The Endowed Undergraduate Research Awards are open to all UAlbany undergraduate students, regardless of major or class year. To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a matriculated (degree-seeking), full-time (enrolled in at least 12 credits) undergraduate student at UAlbany.
  • Be actively involved in a research project at any stage of the research process.
  • Have a UAlbany faculty member, researcher, adjunct faculty member, graduate student, or affiliated researcher mentoring or supervising their research.
