Rose Greene

Rose joined the Center for Human Services Research in 1991. She oversees all research and administrative activities. She is the Principal Investigator of the Healthy Families New York evaluation, a child maltreatment prevention initiative designed to foster healthy child development, promote positive parenting skills, and enhance family functioning.

Rose has nearly thirty years of experience in designing and conducting program evaluations. Her research focus is on providing practical information to guide best practices in service delivery for vulnerable populations.

In addition to child welfare and evaluation, Rose is interested in a wide range of social issues including intimate partner violence, children’s mental health, substance abuse, and early childhood development. Previously, she worked as a human service administrator of community development programs, youth employment initiatives, and in school health education.

Rose received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Sociology from the City University of New York, Queens College; she completed her Master’s degree in Sociology at the University at Albany.
