Michael Jaromin
Michael Jaromin '90 has over 30 years experience working in Student Affairs and has spent most of that time working with and developing the diverse student leaders on campus and was instrumental in helping establish the Center for Leadership and Service in 2016.
Mr. Jaromin has been responsible through the years for the oversight of the departments of Student Activities, Student Involvement, Campus Recreation, Fraternity & Sorority Life, Intercultural Student Engagement and most recently served as the Executive Director of the Great Dane Union.
Over the years he has designed and presented many original workshops for student leaders, advised student leaders including numerous Student Association Presidents and student organization leaders and was trained by Project Adventure, Inc. on experiential leadership education. He is dedicated to enhancing the leadership development of all staff and students at the University.
Michael is a prior recipient of the SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Professional Service and University’s Excellence Award for Professional Service. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of the Holy Cross and his Master of Arts degree from the University at Albany.
