Sue Shanabrook

About the Speaker

Sue Shanabrook is a graduate of University at Albany with a BS degree in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics as well as an MS in Computer Science.

She started her career at IBM then moved to Salesforce where she had the opportunity to drive and experience massive growth over the course of 16 years, ultimately serving as the EVP of Infrastructure. Over that time Sue transitioned back and forth between product and infrastructure engineering, continuing as an engineer/architect until late in her career when she got into management.

Today Sue is the VP of Resiliency Engineering at Cloudflare, getting back to her roots at a smaller company. Sue will talk with us about the fun and challenges of navigating a career in tech followed by a Q&A session where she is happy to answer questions along those lines or to dig into any technical areas that you may find interesting.
