Abstract: Although previous studies have linked temperature to mental disorders, they suffer from exposure misclassification due to sparse monitoring sites. The joint impacts of multiple meteorological factors on mental disorders, especially in transitional months, are understudied. This talk will present our research that assesses whether multiple meteorological factors are jointly associated with mental-disorder related emergency department visits in the summer and transitional months, using a highly dense weather monitoring system.
