About

UAlbany's Dean of Students is Clarence L. McNeill. 

Dean McNeill graduated from the University at Albany with a bachelor's degree in Africana Studies, as well as a master's degree and graduate certificate in educational administration and policy studies. He is working toward his PhD in sociology at UAlbany. 

He is committed to the personal and intellectual growth and development of all UAlbany students. He has oversight of the Office of the Dean of Students, Campus Center Management, the Department of Residential Life, Student Involvement, Fraternity and Sorority Life, and Orientation.

Dean McNeill maintains professional affiliations with the National Behavioral Intervention Team Association (NaBITA), the Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education (NASPA), and the College Student Personnel Association of New York (CSPA-NYS).
