Dr. David Ardrey is a Professor of Practice in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University at Albany, State University of New York. He spent 11 years as a technical staff at MIT Lincoln Laboratory. While there he engaged in signal processing and systems analysis research in the areas of radar, sonar, passive sensing, and communications. For his PhD research at RPI he developed novel image reconstruction techniques for electrical impedance tomography (EIT), a medical imaging modality. Dr. Ardrey is passionate about teaching and has a strong desire to encourage undergraduate engineers towards excellence and to apply their learned skills to improving the world around them.
