Dr. Park Contributes an Additional $100,000 in Honor of His Former Mentor

Dr. Seung Park has generously contributed $100,000 to the Pong S. Lee Memorial Fund. This latest donation comes on top of his previous $100,000 contribution to the same fund.   

Professor Pong S. Lee was a dedicated educator and mentor to numerous students. Dr. Park obtained his PhD in economics under the guidance of Professor Lee. After graduating, Dr. Park went on to hold prominent roles in South Korea, serving as the president of the Bank of Korea and the Minister of Construction in the Korean government. 

Professor Lee's legacy continues through the Pong S. Lee Memorial Fund. The fund supports the annual Pong S. Lee Memorial Lecture series and provides travel grants for students to present their research at prestigious academic conferences.
