Economics PhD Students Present Research at Econometric Society Conferences
In June, two of our students shared their work at the 2024 Asia Meeting of the Econometric Society, held in Hangzhou, China. Zhendong Li presented his research titled "Forecasting Economic Time Series in Presence of Weak Factors: Multiple Supervised Learning-Based Approach" with Professor Ulrich Hounyo. Jiahao Lin presented his work on "Reliable Wild Bootstrap Inference with Multiway Clustering" also in collaboration with Professor Hounyo. In August, At the 2024 Asia Meeting of the Econometric Society in East/Southeast Asia, held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam in August, Piyush Gade presented his research titled "Decoding the connection: Telehealth Legislation, Broadband Infusion and Physician Distribution".
These presentations reflect the high quality of research produced by our PhD students and their active engagement with the global academic community.
