Haley Muir Knox

Dr. Haley Muir Knox is a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Division of Special Education. Prior to joining the faculty, she spent more than 10 years as a special education teacher working with students with a variety of disabilities. She also taught at the College of St. Rose in both the graduate and undergraduate special education and teacher preparation programs. Her research interests focus on promoting equity in postsecondary transition planning and increasing access to effective strategies and resources related to acquiring skills necessary for the transition to adult life for individuals with disabilities. She is also currently involved in research related to autism spectrum disorder and the various factors that affect awareness and access to resources for individuals with autism spectrum disorder.
