About

Mary Valentis’ primary teaching interests are interdisciplinary studies, modernism, psychoanalysis and culture, film studies, and visual studies.  Her recent work has been in psychoanalysis and climate change and medical humanities.  She has just co-written, directed, and produced a documentary film, the Albany mummies: unraveling an ancient mystery and a novel about Edith Wharton.
