Jane Champagne

Jane Champagne joined the Graduate School in the spring of 2001. Initially appointed as supervisor of application processing operations, her duties have expanded to incorporate responsibilities as the Admissions and Degree Services officer for the Colleges of Arts and Sciences and the College of Nanotechnology, Science, and Engineering, as well as Assistant to the Dean of the Graduate School. She also continues to act as primary manager of graduate application processing services and associate in charge of unit operations in her capacity as Director of Graduate Admissions. 

Prior to joining the Graduate School, Jane served as a program support specialist in the University at Albany’s Advancement Office. She also held a post in business analysis and training support in University Applications Development. Her work in conjunction with the University’s conversion to PeopleSoft administrative systems led to her appointment in graduate admissions. Jane holds an Associates in Applied Science from Hudson Valley Community College, a Bachelor of Science in Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, a Master of Business Administration and a Certificate of Advanced Study in Educational Administration from the University at Albany.
