Clinically, Dr. Díaz-Myers is interested in identity development, issues pertaining to being a first-generation student, healing from trauma and oppression, mood disorders, and adjustment issues.

Dr. Díaz-Myers has an integrative and collaborative approach to therapy that is informed by humanist, psychodynamic and developmental approaches within a multicultural framework. She believes in the importance of the therapeutic relationship as the conduit for healing and change.

Dr. Díaz-Myers is an avid crossword lover and enjoys music and dancing including merengue, salsa, and freestyle. She likes reading and movies, and spending time with family and friends. She also practices meditation and believes that laughter cures most ailments.
