Professional Interests
Jesse has previous experience supporting individuals with obsessive-compulsive disorder and obsessive-compulsive personality disorder in an outpatient hospital setting, and has additionally provided therapy for college students and working professionals. Jesse is especially interested in topics such as the incorporation of mental healthcare into digital health platforms, and the impact of clinical services on athletic performance.
Approach to Therapy
Jesse strongly values building a strong rapport, as he believes that to be the largest driver of clinical progress among his clients. He additionally conceptualizes the mental health difficulties of his clients through a cognitive-behavioral lens, where the intersection of client thoughts, feelings and behaviors are examined collaboratively to identify problem areas. Within this model, Jesse makes a concerted effort to affirm and validate the life experiences of his clients.
Approach to Wellness
In his spare time, you’ll find Jesse playing video and tabletop games, watching anime, and practicing martial arts.
