Dr. Qingqing Yang serves as a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute for Social and Health Equity at the University at Albany. She obtained her PhD in human development and family science from The Ohio State University in 2023. Yang's research is centered on elucidating the influences of classroom and family environments on children's development, particularly those from marginalized backgrounds.

Yang collaborates with Dr. Paul Morgan on an Institute of Education Sciences funded grant aimed at investigating modifiable factors in social contexts associated with bullying victimization and its consequences. Through her research endeavors, Yang contributes to advancing our understanding of the intricate dynamics that shape children's experiences and outcomes within various social contexts.
