Martha Brown

As a University at Albany graduate student, Martha Brown was awarded a Fulbright grant for Romania to teach English at the University of Oradea in 2022. Previously, she had taught English abroad in several other countries including South Korea, Spain, and Austria. Martha graduated from SUNY Plattsburgh in 2012 with a BA in Anthropology with concentrations in Linguistics and German. Her interest in international education stemmed from her study abroad experiences in England and Germany as an undergraduate student. She is also an avid marathon runner and competed in the Berlin marathon in 2023, with the goal of eventually completing all six World Marathon Majors.
