M. Rakib Uddin

Interests: Photonics devices and circuits for data communications, computing and sensors.

Dr. Uddin has more than 20 years of professional experience both in academia and high-tech industries. He has researched and developed photonics/optical devices and systems for communications, computing and sensor applications and been published in more than 100 international journals and conference proceedings, and holds seven US patents.
He has developed lateral junction, vertical junction, carrier injection and carrier depletion ring modulators, thermally tunable resonator devices, and cascaded rings for wide band filter and MUX/DeMUX applications. He has experience with
