STEM & Nanotechnology Family Day Spotlights Student Learning

ALBANY, N.Y. (Feb. 13, 2024) — UAlbany's College of Nanotechnology, Science, and Engineering (CNSE) welcomed a capacity crowd of young students from throughout the Capital Region on Saturday, Feb. 10 to STEM and Nanotechnology Family Day, where they learned about how nanotechnology is making a difference in our lives through demonstrations, tours and a host of educational activities.

Partners attending the event included NY CREATES, AIM Photonics, Applied Materials, Tokyo Electron, Global Foundries, IBM and more. UAlbany's Department of Atmospheric and Environmental Sciences and College of Emergency Preparedness, Homeland Security and Cybersecurity were also on hand to showcase learning opportunities and research experiments.

The event was sponsored by CNSE, NY CREATES and the New York State Master Teacher Program.
