Professional Interests

LaGriff’s professional interests include creating more equitable and accessible therapy spaces for minoritized individuals, psychological flexibility, LGBTQ+ mental health and well-being.  

Approach to Therapy

LaGriff uses a variety of approaches and schools of thought to meet their clients’ individual needs. Among them are Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Liberation Psychology, Feminist Psychology, acceptance and mindfulness-based approaches, Brief Solutions-Focused Psychotherapy, Interbehaviorism and Functional Analytical Psychotherapy. 

Approach to Wellness

LaGriff’s approach to wellness nearly always involves being outside (e.g., getting lost in the woods or mountains, plopping their body in water) or cooking something adventurous and delicious for their people.
