About
I graduated from the University of Florida with a BSBA degree in Marketing with a minor in computer science. Since learning that my family is affected with myotonic dystrophy I have educated myself over the last several years to learn all I can about this disorder. I have immersed myself in learning bioinformatics in order to assist the research and knowledge for DM and joined the Berglund lab in November 2017. My project includes analysis of RNAseq data sets to assess splicing changes by the RNA-binding protein MBNL1.
