About
I started performing research in the Berglund lab as an undergraduate McNair Scholar at the University of Oregon in 2014. After graduating in 2015 I continued to perform research in the lab while working as the lab manager until 2017 when I started my PhD. I am currently a student at the University of Florida College of Medicine, and a visiting scholar at the University at Albany, where I will continue to work on completing my doctoral research. My research focus include using and developing Next-generation sequencing protocols and computational biology analysis to study RNA binding proteins and their relation to RNA processing and disease.
