Amanda Maleszweski

Amanda Maleszweski was appointed UAlbany’s Chief Campus Counsel within the SUNY Office of General Counsel in October 2021, after serving as Assistant Counsel with SUNY Upstate Medical University since 2018.

Prior to these positions, Amanda worked in the Office of General Counsel at The Research Foundation for SUNY and in private practice, where she focused on litigation, labor and employment-related matters, such as employee disciplinary arbitrations, civil service hearings and employment-related proceedings conducted by federal and state administrative agencies.

Amanda earned her bachelor's degree in political science from Union College and her law degree, with magna cum laude Latin honors, from Albany Law School of Union University.
