Krista received a BA degree in Psychology from the University of California Santa Barbara. During her time at UC Santa Barbara, Krista worked at the Koegel Autism Center where she worked to promote social skills in children and adults with a range of language and cognitive abilities on the autism spectrum.
Prior to joining CARD, Krista participated in a joint Research Fellowship at the Yale Child Study Center and Cogstate where she implemented Pivotal Response Treatment, an evidence-based intervention, to children with autism spectrum disorders and supported industry-sponsored clinical trials in rare diseases and pediatrics.
Krista’s interests include the dissemination of evidence-based interventions to increase accessibility of resources to underserved populations in the ASD community.
She is currently enrolled as a clinical doctoral student at the University at Albany, SUNY.
