Overview
Participants will learn about the history of Indian Health Services and socio-cultural norms of some American Indian communities within New York State. Specific service provision barriers encountered within Indian Health Services will be presented along with strategies to identify and collaborate with community partners.
Target Audience
Public health professionals, environmental professionals, physicians, physician assistants, nurses, nurse practitioners, local health department staff and other medical and public health professionals.
