Isaiah Van Buren

Isaiah Van Buren is a percussionist and music educator based in New York's Capital Region.  

He has performed with various groups, including the Capital Region Wind Ensemble and Saratoga Schenectady Symphony Orchestra, and in theater productions by Schenectady Light Opera Company and the Timothy Murphy Playhouse.

As an educator, he has taught the percussion sections of the Mohonasen Marching Band, Albany Indoor Percussion Ensemble, and UAlbany Marching Great Danes.  

His former teachers include Andrew Janack, Nachiko Maekane, James "JP" Petercsak, Dr. Catherine Meunier and Dr. Robert Sanderl.
