The Center's "Core Leadership Competency" framework provides a roadmap for leadership development. Our services and programs include:
- Leadership Workshops: Targeted, competency-focused workshop programs for student leaders, student staff and professionals
- Leadership Coaching: One-on-one or small cohort sessions program with individualized support and development
- Champions for a Cause: Servant leadership programs connecting student organizations and departments with aligned community organizations and their cause
- Leadership Academy: An invite-only cohort of incoming students who participate in a weekly leadership development program designed to prepare them to be successful leaders on campus, in the community and in their future careers
- UAlbany Votes: A non-partisan committee of student leaders, faculty, staff and University partners that works to promote a culture of civic engagement across our campuses
- Engage UAlbany: Portal for posting and finding requests for UAlbany volunteers by interest, date, location and organization in the Capital Region
The Center advises several student organizations, including:
- Omicron Delta Kappa, the National Leadership Honor Society
- The National Society of Leadership and Success
- Alpha Phi Omega, the National Service Fraternity
Additionally, the Center supports the School of Education's Department of Educational Policy & Leadership’s Leadership Minor, which is an 18-credit opportunity open to students of all majors.
