- "What's Up with Culture?" is a website designed to help a student "make successful cultural adjustments" before going overseas.
- Hofstede Insights Country Comparison allows you to view the cultural differences between two countries based on Hofstede's 6 dimensions. You can compare your country with the United States.
- Cross-Cultural Communication For Americans is a video explaining how cultural habits of Americans can differ from the habits of other people from around the world.
- Homesickness is common and you may experience it. If you are feeling homesick, reach out to ISSS for help, or consider making an appointment with Counseling and Psychological Services. You will also be able to find a lot of helpful tips like "How International Students Can Fight Holiday Homesickness" and "How I beat homesickness, by an international student."
