SUNY approves our Fall 2020 proposal

Dear UAlbany Community:

I am very pleased to inform you that SUNY has approved UAlbany’s proposal for Fall 2020. This is great news, which authorizes us to implement our plan—including starting the fall semester on August 24, 2020, as scheduled. We are excited about welcoming students to campus next month, and SUNY’s endorsement helps us move forward.

Our plan is a living document based on evolving conditions and guidance, so we encourage you to monitor your UAlbany email and check our COVID-19 website for updates and other details. You can also view the full plan as approved by SUNY and the NYS checklist we completed as part of our approval process.

We will of course continue to stay in touch with you and provide updates as they become available. Meanwhile, please stay safe and healthy—and have an enjoyable Fourth of July holiday.
