Congratulations to this year’s awardees!

Recipients of the 2024 President’s Award for Exemplary Public Engagement

The President’s Award for Exemplary Public Engagement is the highest honor presented for public engagement at the University at Albany. It recognizes an individual, project or program that embodies the University’s vision as a public research university committed to providing the leadership, knowledge and innovations to create a better world. This year’s two exceptional awardees epitomize UAlbany’s core priority of Engagement and Service. Through outstanding scholarship, significant personal effort, and transformational partnerships, they have developed impactful new opportunities and approaches for addressing critical issues in the areas of public health and education, and as such have contributed greatly to our shared goal of creating more equitable, just, inclusive and supportive communities for all.
