Daniel P. Aalberts

Dr. Aalberts work focuses on modeling how mRNA sequence features influence efficiency of translation to protein, leading to algorithms to optimize protein yield; developing methods for describing RNA free energy landscapes; and algorithms for RNA folding ensembles, oligo binding, pseudoknots, macrostates.
