Professor Barbara Sutton Receives Senior Faculty Recognition

WGSS Professor Barbara Sutton was selected for a Senior Faculty Recognition based on her "impactful research/scholarship/creative work, collaborations, and extramural grant activity." Her expansive study of women’s lives, body politics, violence, the dynamics of social inequalities, and the forces of societal transformation in Latin America was specifically noted.

The recognition event was held during the Research and Entrepreneurship Week at the University at Albany on Tuesday, October 17. Professor Sutton was among a group of distinguished scholars across the university who were also chosen for recognition.
