Undergraduate Admissions Staff

As a first-generation student and immigrant, higher education has been a life changing experience, so talking to students and families about the opportunities UAlbany has to offer is always a privilege. Some of my favorite things about Albany is its close proximity to so many great things, such as the Adirondack Park, ski mountains and lakes. I am also an avid UAlbany lacrosse fan — go Great Danes!
 

I’m from Queens, N.Y., and then moved to Long Island. I'm a UAlbany alum who graduated in December 2024 with a double major in Human Development and Psychology. During my time as a student, I was involved as an ambassador, a peer educator and a volunteer for the Alumni Association. My favorite aspect of campus is our welcoming and diverse campus community!
 

I like being outdoors and spending time with my family and friends, especially my two kids. On campus, I like the hustle and bustle of the Campus Center.
 

I recently graduated from UAlbany with a bachelor's degree in public policy. During my time as a student, I discovered my interest in higher education through on-campus leadership opportunities. My previous on-campus experiences include time with Student Activities and Orientation, Student Engagement and as a Peer Advisor in the Academic Support Center. I am currently working toward a master's degree in Higher Education.
 

I’m from the Hudson Valley and earned both my BA in Sociology and MS in Education at UAlbany. In my role as Admissions Operations Specialist, I focus on creating a smooth path for students from the moment they submit their application through graduation. Outside of admissions, I teach an Introduction to College course, enjoy cooking, and coach youth soccer.
 

My favorite wintertime activity in the Capital Region is ice skating outside at the Empire State Plaza!
 

I’m a native of Livingston County, N.Y., but I’ve been part of the UAlbany family for over 20 years and have seen so many students flourish here then move on to successful careers. The Capital District has so much to offer, both professionally and recreationally. I enjoy the proximity to great skiing as well as the four Greek festivals in the area between May and September!
 

My favorite part of the UAlbany campus is our state-of-the-art ETEC building — the home of our Engineering, Atmospheric Science, and Emergency Preparedness, Homeland Security & Cybersecurity programs. UAlbany has become a leader in these areas and as a result, we are attracting students from across the globe.
 

Kevin's hobbies include traveling.
 

I am a proud alum from New York City and what I love most about the campus is the vibrant and diverse community. I also enjoy the outdoors and the Capital Region offers easy access to the city and Adirondacks where I enjoy hiking in the summer and skiing in the winter.
 

I come from a diverse background, having lived in Seoul, South Korea, as well as Manhattan, Queens and Atlanta. Growing up across different cultural and educational environments has strengthened my commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive admissions experience for all students. As a SUNY graduate, I have deep appreciation for the public higher education system. Having navigated the college process myself, I understand how overwhelming and exciting this transition can be. I believe finding the right college is about more than just academics — it’s about belonging, growth and discovering your own path. I enjoy learning about each student’s unique story and guiding them through the application process toward their academic goals.
 

I'm an Albany native. I enjoy ETEC and our proximity to New York State government buildings. I like to visit Empire State Plaza and Thacher Park.
 

I'm a proud SUNY alumni and Rochester, N.Y., native. I'm regionally based in New York City, which I've had the pleasure of calling my home for the past 10 years. Living in NYC gives me the opportunity to forge meaningful connections to students across the five boroughs and share with them everything UAlbany has to offer. I have a passion for musical theater and love hiking in the Adirondack Mountains. With UAlbany's wide variety of degrees and programs, I'm confident students will love calling the Capital Region their new home!
 

As a UAlbany alum, I can attest to the warm and welcoming environment UAlbany provides its students. I am happy to be part of such a vibrant community! The Capital Region has a lot to offer in terms of art, culture, food and entertainment. I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, taking walks and visiting small businesses in the area.
 

I am a native of the Capital Region, hailing from Niskayuna, N.Y., and a proud two-time alum of UAlbany. What I love most about UAlbany is all the involvement and intercultural opportunities that are available for all students, faculty and staff members. The Albany area itself has so much to offer, but my favorite is going to Indian Ladder Farms to go apple picking during the fall months. The proximity to the Adirondack and Catskill mountains also provides a host of opportunities to enjoy the great outdoors of Upstate New York!
 

As a first-generation graduate from UAlbany's Class of 2025, the campus environment truly helped me thrive. During my time here, I served as a tour guide, Marketing Assistant and Residential Assistant. Since my time here was so transformative, I am passionate about introducing others to all the amazing resources available at UAlbany. Being a Brooklyn native and New York City regional Admissions Counselor, I am excited about the opportunity to help my community explore a future with UAlbany. Go Great Danes!
 

As a first-generation college graduate of UAlbany, I have a deep connection to the University and its mission. My journey through higher education has been shaped by my professional background in recruitment, which has equipped me with the skills to support and guide prospective students effectively. Outside of work, I love spending time in nature, easily accessible through the beautiful Adirondack and Catskill Mountains. During the summertime, you can often find me enjoying the Saratoga area, whether attending a concert at SPAC or kayaking on the lake.
