Fred Blanchard

Mr. Frederick Blanchard is an Educational Opportunity Program graduate from Buffalo State College. He was a successful student athlete during his undergraduate career, earning his bachelor's in criminal justice and a master's in student personnel administration. He has over 25 years of service in higher education which includes athletics, residential life, academic advisement and counseling. He has created and coordinated programs in peer academic mentoring, summer experiential learning for students pursuing law enforcement careers and transfer orientation. He has also served as a task force member of the Albany Law Enforcement Resolution Team (ALERT). He is a native of Syracuse and currently resides in the Capital Region.
