Forensics, Analytics, Complexity, Energy and Transportation Security Center
A leading research center in digital forensics and cybersecurity dedicated to protecting the nation’s electronic infrastructure. FACETS fosters innovative research built on blended strengths in information security, data mining, cybersecurity, digital forensics and information technology security, research strengths in behavioral foundations of security, self-organized systems, cyber-warfare, resilient transportation, supervisory control and data acquisition and other cyber-intelligent systems.
The center is funded by the National Security Agency, National Science Foundation, U.S. Small Business Administration, Intelligence Advanced Research Projects Activity, the National Institute of Standards and Technology and others.
FACETS is housed in the Massry Center for Business, which maintains a cyber innovation laboratory that allows simulated cyber-attacks, granting researchers the ability to create new innovations for cyber defense and collaborate with the regional cybersecurity industry.
