Expanding our Role as Economic Catalyst
UAlbany is the Capital Region’s headquarters for innovation. This happens on campus, where student and faculty entrepreneurs can find support to move their bright ideas from the drawing board to production.
It also occurs through public-private partnerships, such as UAlbany’s Emerging Technology and Entrepreneurship Complex (ETEC), which couples cutting-edge research with economic development initiatives in an effort to speed the transfer of new ideas and technologies to commercial enterprises.
