About

Desirée Chappelle Streeter is a Designated Linklater Teacher, teaching voice and speech, inspired by the work of Kristin Linklater to free the natural voice. She received her training and designation in Orkney, Scotland. Desirée is a local performer and director, whose passion is theatre education. She works with students of all ages both privately and as a visiting artist. She has been a Teaching Artist for the DC-Baltimore regional theaters Round House and Everyman and is an adjunct professor at Russell Sage College. Desirée studied at the Gaiety School of Acting in Dublin, Ireland, and completed her BA at Trinity University. She received her MFA in Acting from The Catholic University of America.
