Nora Marlow Smith is a scenic and costume designer. Professional credits include Fort Huachuca and Bloodshot with SheNYC, Being Chaka at the New Ohio Theater, Erastes with the Fresh Fruit Festival, Ms. Watson and Ms. Holmes- Apt 2B at Beloit College, Pipeline and RENT at Omaha Playhouse, The Little Prince and Carmen in the 1920's with Ballet Co. Laboratory, The Life and Deaths of Alan Turing with Chicago Opera Theater, Myths and Hymns and Antigone at Amherst College, Dance Nation and Marisol at Wirtz Performing Arts Center, Wake...Sing with IRT NYC, and Grand Rounds at LaMama. She holds an MFA in Stage and Costume Design from Northwestern University and a Teaching Certificate from the Searle Center for Teaching and Learning at Northwestern, as well as a BA in Set Design and English Literature from Mount Holyoke College. She is a member of the Communications Honor Society Lambda Pi Eta, and the recipient of the 2022 Michael E. Merritt Award for Excellence in Design and Collaboration.
