R. Christopher Maxwell hails from the bustling southern metropolis of Little Rock, Arkansas, and currently resides in Harlem, New York. Christopher is a 5th year Stage Manager at Actor's Equity Association. He also serves as Director at Large and New York Metro Regional Representative for the Stage Manager’s Association. Off-Broadway credits: We Won’t Sleep and Arden of Faversham (Production Stage Manager); Eco Village, Safeword, and American Moor (Assistant Stage Manager). Regional credits: Fairview, The Inheritance, Guys and Dolls, The Mountaintop/Silent Sky (Production Stage Manager); and Mojada: A Medea in Los Angeles and Mlima’s Tale (Assistant Stage Manager). He has a BA in Theater Arts-Dance and Sociology from the University of Arkansas in Little Rock and received an MFA in Stage Management from Columbia University’s School of the Arts.
