Rachel Hart-Malloy, PhD, MPH, is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, College of Integrated Health Sciences, University at Albany, State University of New York, and the Director of the Office of Sexual Health and Epidemiology, at the New York State Health Department’s AIDS Institute.
The overarching focus of Dr. Hart-Malloy’s work is sexual health, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), HIV, and Hepatitis C virus (HCV) epidemiology, surveillance, evaluation, policy and programming. Her research has focused on mathematic modeling and epidemiologic methods to understand disease burden, evaluation of medical care and treatment, and implementing best practices.
