Jildyz Urbaeva

Jildyz Urbaeva is an Associate Professor in the School of Social Welfare at the University at Albany SUNY. Her research focuses on health and social disparities in transitional economies, with a focus on Central Asian countries. Her current work focuses on access to health and social services for women and minority populations, substance use among youth, and risky sex behaviors in the context of HIV epidemics.
