Cross-Registration

University at Albany undergraduate students may cross-register for courses at participating institutions if they meet all eligibility requirements. Credits earned through cross-registration are recorded on the University at Albany transcript with a cross-registration course entry and the appropriate number of credits attempted and earned. Letter grades earned through cross- registration, at participating institutions, are translated to a grade of S or U (satisfactory or unsatisfactory) and posted to the University at Albany transcript. The grade of S is defined as equivalent to the grade of C or higher and is acceptable to fulfill graduation requirements where applicable. The grade of U (C- or lower) is unsatisfactory and is not acceptable to fulfill graduation requirements. In addition, cross-registered courses do not count towards university, major, or minor residency requirements. More information about these programs can be found at the registrar's office site.
