Dr. Srishti Gupta is a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University at Albany, SUNY where she specializes in data science, artificial intelligence, and human-computer interaction. She holds a PhD in Information Science and Technology from Pennsylvania State University, where her research, supervised by Dr. John M. Carroll, focused on Human-Computer Interaction.
Dr. Gupta’s current research interests lie at the intersection of community and health informatics, particularly the use of AI technologies such as large language models to support healthcare communication and empower underserved populations. Her work includes projects addressing neonatal health and emergency management in Indigenous communities. She has published extensively on citizen science, collaborative design, and integration of AI in community and health initiatives.
